Hello there! I’m Shannon from AKA Design and I’m honored to be sharing our rustic fall dining room with our Hello Yellow readers today.
My favorite way of decorating year round is to mix in thrifted finds with new items. I love farmhouse style paired with the industrial look.
Our dining room is a collection of neutral pieces filled with loads of texture – wood laminate, board and batten, rattan, dried flowers, birch logs, linen curtains and fluffy pillows.
I also have a lot of fun mixing chair styles around the table.
Speaking of the table, our new Leon’s Urban Splendor dining room table is one of my favorite pieces in the room. The A-Frame metal base. The wood top with subtle color variations on each plank. Very farmhouse industrial.
Touches of fall come from my favorite – and very often used – turned wood candle stands. I’ve also mixed in some dried flowers and cotton stems in a large vase to make an easy centerpiece.
What do you think of our fall dining room? Do you decorate for fall?
Thanks for reading.
xo,
Shannon
